Hello friends!
Fall's here and isn't it grand? We certainly get
excited at Fountainside to see what our artists have been creating
over the summer. This newsletter will introduce you to our
newest artist and give you a sneak peek at new works from artists you
are already familiar with.......
We'd like to welcome clay artist
Marty Allran to the gallery!
Marty is a native North Carolinian and resident of
Wilmington, who, as she says, grew up with red clay on
her. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with an
interior design degree which sharpened her eye for design.
After retirement from the design field, Marty was quick to explore
the medium of clay and we certainly enjoy her efforts! Earthy,
poetic and elegantly textured, each piece is a personal, unique
expression.
